Highly recommend for mature children age 13 and above. A lot of alcohol, illegal drugs, and smoking but teaches children side effects and consequences so does not encourage this behaviour. So far as I know, my older daughter already curses. A lot of swearing but my children are already exposed to that subject. There are barely any inappropriate scenes.

If your children cannot handle graphic violence, then I suggest that they do not watch this series. My children can handle violence better than me because of the things that are constantly exposing themselves to them. The plot of this movie is very intelligent but there is a lot of violence.

I would rather they learn now (the easy way) than get shocked and uncomfortable later on in life. Violence is high but I let my 13 and 15 yr olds watch this because they need to comprehend these types of serious matters (such as depression, suicide, etc.) because they need to get used to these types of things from a movie to adjust and prepare for it in real life because these types of matters are very common. This is a masterpiece! Love the camera quality and blurs around shown objects and characters. Language includes "f-k," "f-king," "mother-ker," "s-t," "bitch," "goddamn," and "hell." A man punches a wall in anger and another punches his teen son. The film has moments of graphic violence, including stabbings, near drownings, a fatal car crash (with dead bodies, including a child's), and deadly falls. Her reality is also altered by the steady mix of medications and wine she imbibes, which seems to be causing her hallucinations and memory problems. She witnesses a woman being stabbed to death and doesn't know whom she can trust. Unable to leave her house due to an anxiety disorder, she fearfully watches out the window and faints at the door when she opens it. The film builds tension from the start as the main character ( Amy Adams) struggles with her own inner demons and a sense of constant threat. Finn, has a lot of unsettling suspense and some very violent scenes as well as drinking, medication abuse, and psychological disorders. Parents need to know that The Women in the Window, based on the novel by A.J. A woman is said to have been a meth addict in the past.ĭid you know you can flag iffy content? Adjust limits for Drinking, Drugs & Smoking in your kid's entertainment guide. She has a stash of pills that could be used to kill a person.

She appears to pass out every night from the mix, and the consumption seems to be causing hallucinations and memory issues. Anna has a drinking problem and mixes alcohol with medications, even though she knows she shouldn't.
