And guess what? This is going to be live. I only get nervous when it’s live and we haven’t rehearsed enough. So that means that when I see them, I’m like, “Hey!” but I don’t actually know if they remember me. What’s cool about being on SNL, and kind of humiliating too, is that a lot of people at the Met Gala are people who have hosted or performed on the show. Not that I’m socially awkward, but I do think talking with people helps.
In the past week, I’ve been socializing with friends a lot. How do you get into the mindset for hosting? I have to talk to people with a microphone!
